10 out of 10. All my food was delish. Vegetable samosa, chicken tikka masala. I recommend this place when you are looking for some good Indian food.

Visited Uzma restaurant for the first time. I am very impressed with the service provided by Abhijeet & Vishnu - they attended to my request closely and recommended the food I would like from the menu. Food quality and preparation was excellent, goat Karahi, Chicken Sheek Kabas were excellent, tandoori roti was perfectly rolled as it should be many other restaurants roll it thick. I will certainly visit again to try out other dishes on the menu. Ambiance is above average; it has seating for 50 guests weekends it would be advisable to call ahead.

Great decor and the service was prompt and attentive. He waiter made great recommendations. Lahore fish was tender and flavorful and came out piping hot and crispy. Qeema samosa was ok but qeema paratha was excellent. Highly recommend getting the raita and asking for extra green chutney. The karahi was fresh and tomatoey. While I have had better karahi's in Maryland this was one of the best in NJ. Tandoori roti was great to sop up the gravy and the goat biryani was full of crispy and caramelized onions and nice hunks of tender goat. Delicious with a black cardamom punch.

So good I could cry. Uzma isn't kidding, the food is really that good. Started off with the Chicken Bihari Paratha roll - the chicken looked bland and not flavorless, but was the opposite. Tender, juicy, flavorful and a perfect bite wrapped in a paratha. Next, the Chicken Karahi, which was probably the star of the meal. Not super oily (as a lot of Karahis go, and not always a bad thing), perfect bone in flavorful chicken and I probably want a full next time. Went perfectly with the naan. The Goat Biryani was good too, perfectly cooked meat and soft potatoes mixed in. Almost didn't get dessert, but they had gajar (carrot) halwa on the menu which I love. It was honestly one of the best I've had in this part of the the world. Towards the end of our meal, Uzma walked by and she was extremely warm and welcoming. We couldn't praise her enough. Will be back, pronto.

The name says it all. This is good food; seriously good food! I don't need to fly over to Chicago (Devon Ave) or Houston (Hillcroft) for good Pakistani food anymore. I've found what I need in Central New Jersey. The menu is rather extensive, so I was initially a little apprehensive that they would not actually have the items that I wanted to eat. But they do manage to whip up whatever I ask for. The weekend breakfast menu will continue to lure me all the way from my urban abode in New York City to Central Jersey. The dum ka qeema pairs amazingly well with the anda paratha. The club sandwich here is the closest to what I grew up relishing in Karachi. The chana dal halwa is the perfect dessert; delightfully subtle, not cloyingly sweet. It's so hard to find that dessert in this part of the world! The service is very gracious. The proprietor's son mans the dining room, actively soliciting feedback, and checking to make sure everyone is enjoying their meal. The dining room has limited seating capacity, and the place (understandably) gets very busy at regular meal times, so be prepared to wait to get seated if you show up during a busy time without a reservation. This is also a place where families gather to celebrate and have a good time, so the place (also understandably) can get rather loud. Do not allow that to deter you from a delicious meal.

Very Tasty food. Goat Biryani was perfectly done, meat succulent, Spicy not hot. Chicken Karahi was awesome, it is oily by design for the unaware. Lahori fish fry a must try. Unfortunately Prices has gone up, though it is on par with other desi restaurants, but it compensates with taste & quality. Takeaway review.

This food was absolutely amazing. And far exceeded my expectations. Once seated, we were given QR codes for menu. And decided to go with the following items: Appetizer. Papri chana chaat Karhai chicken. Full. 2lbs Beef nihari. Naans The chaat was very good and seasoned well. The nihari was delicious also. Chunks of meat. The gravy was the correct texture. The Karhai chicken was absolutely Delicious. It Was the best item of all the items totally on point with all the right spices and seasoning. The presentation was beautiful also. Service was up-to standard. The only mistake the restaurant did was to order for us 2lbs Karhai when I only asked for one pound. Nonetheless, it was delicious and we Took the leftovers for home.

My family was looking for authentic Pakistani food during our short stay in NJ, and we left this place joking that it should be called "GREAT Food by Uzma" :) We were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes, meaning we had to pack some food to go. Can't complain! The Goat Karahi and the Bihari Kabab were the stars of the table. The service was great, too. I believe the owner checked in with my family to make sure the food was to our liking. Would recommend for anyone looking for "home-style" dining!
